Jalapeno Pickle Dip

Variations on dill pickle dip abound but this one from the Homesick Texan caught our eye with its addition of pickled jalapenos. Yum!

This creamy, crunchy, concoction is sure to be a hit at summer barbecues & picnics. It’s delicious served with fresh vegetables, chips and crackers.

Or try it as a zippy spread in a sandwich with veggies or smoked salmon.

Here’s how we make it:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

3-4 tbsp sour cream, or more depending on desired thickness

1/4 cup finely diced Catie’s pickled jalapenos

1/2 cup finely diced Catie's dill pickles

1 tbsp jalapeno pickle brine

1 tbsp dill pickle brine

dash of Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 cup chopped fresh dill, plus more to garnish

Combine all ingredients until well blended. Adjust seasonings, add salt as desired. Chill. Remove from fridge shortly before serving to soften slightly. Garnish with fresh dill and enjoy!

Note: Amounts easily scaled up if serving a crowd.

So devilishly delicious!
