Mad about pickles

Our classic dill pickles and tangy bread & butter pickles, featuring fresh-from-the fields local cukes, are essential ingredients in our warm weather kitchen repertoire. What’s summer without the crunch of pickles accompanying picnics and backyard feasts, added to salads, chopped into dressings, and savoured alongside burgers.

When Epicurious declared 2023 “the summer of pickle dressing,” we jumped right on board. Its punchy “choose your own adventure any-pickle dressing” definitely makes the cut for our roster of summer salad go-tos.

We used a combo of dill pickles and pickled jalapenos in this batch, setting aside some of the dressing to marinate chicken for the grill and more to drizzle over a grilled chicken salad. Try other combinations to suit your tastes - hot dilled beans would be great in this!
