Saucy Burger Bowls

Simple yet so satisfying, these burger bowls are a family-friendly weeknight favourite.

The burger sauce does double duty as a dip for the roasted potato wedges.

It’s a great back-pocket sauce that can be whipped up to slather over burgers, drizzle over wedge salads, dollop over fish cakes, or mixed with cabbage for fish sandwiches or smash burger tacos.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, turkey or chicken

  • Romaine lettuce, shredded

  • Tomatoes, chopped

  • Catie's bread & butter pickles (for sauce and garnish)

  • Burger sauce (recipe below)

  • Oven roasted / air fried potatoes wedges

Brown ground meat and season to your liking (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika or spice blend of choice).

Pile bowls with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and potato wedges. Garnish with pickles and dollop with burger sauce, serving extra on the side for dipping.

Serves 4

Optional toppings: Shredded cheese, jalapeños, corn, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, bacon bits.
